Achievement Banquet

The Rotary Club of Stow-Munroe Falls sponsored its 20th annual Achievement Banquet on April 08, 2008 . The Achievement Banquet honors students from Stow-Munroe Falls High School who have realized exceptional grade point averages, demonstrated strong leadership qualities and extraordinary character. The Achievement Banquet began in 1967 by then Principal James VanGilder and the school ran the program through 1985. The Banquet was not held from 1986 through 1988 due to a lack of financial support. The Rotary Club stepped forward as the sponsor in 1989 and the program has grown each year.

The Rotarians in their white shirts and red bow ties greet the honored students and their families while serving drinks and desserts. The event has become an annual favorite for those who have worked the event for the interaction and camaraderie.
